Seiji Yamamoto and the art/science of his cooking…

‘Cooking is both an art and a science’. I’ve come across this cliche so often but never thought much of it until I came across this chef, Seiji Yamamoto, preparing his beautiful food on Youtube.

He takes the art and science of cooking to another level! No kitchen mess or greasy splatters… Not a fish scale out of place… No narration or small talk. Everything is just elegant motion with delicate instrumental music in the backdrop… Never seen a cooking video like it! Look! Even every screen shot I take of the video looks so artistic.:P

So, I have been hooked onto the Youtube ever since, watching this chef prepare his Japanese cuisine… It’s hypnotic… Every step is calculated, graceful, beautiful and perfect. Actually, I can’t really describe it in words. Go watch it yourself!:)
